Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator to lead cross-discipline coordination on transit and multimodal projects. You will integrate models across architecture, vertical/transportation structures, roadway design and MEP into a federated, clash-checked deliverable.

You will run Navisworks clash detection, enforce BIM standards, mentor staff, and help define model deliverables and LOE per project requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with vocational technical training.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on duties.
• Strong knowledge of BIM/CADD standards and coordination practices.
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Cross-discipline coordination for transit/multimodal projects, coordinating deliverables across architecture, vertical structures, transportation structures, roadway design, and MEP.
• Run clash detection in Navisworks and coordinate resolution across disciplines.
• Establish and enforce CADD/BIM standards and workflows across offices.
• Mentor and train production staff across geographies to build repeatable capabilities.
• Develop BIM Execution Plans and advise on model-based deliverable scoping and LOE.
