Job summary

EnCharge AI, Inc. seeks a Staff/Senior Staff CAD & Methodology Engineer to lead automated physical design and signoff flows for AI accelerators. You will be the resident expert in Innovus and Tempus, collaborating with PD and STA teams to remove bottlenecks and accelerate RTL-to-GDSII timing signoff.

The role emphasizes scalable flow architecture, Python/Tcl automation, and strong Cadence tooling expertise to meet aggressive tapeout schedules in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• 9–14 years of ASIC/SOC physical design experience.
• Expert CAD/TFM/Flow automation skills.
• Strong Tcl and Python scripting; Makefiles and shell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain a highly automated physical design and signoff flow from synthesis through GDSII.
• Drive advanced physical design methodologies in Cadence Innovus; optimize floorplanning, CTS, routing, and power grid.
• Own the STA and timing signoff methodology using Cadence Tempus; implement DMSA and automated ECO flows.
