EnCharge AI is seeking a Senior Staff Physical Design Engineer with extensive experience in chip-level implementation and EDA tools. The expert will drive physical design, timing closure, and low-power strategies across top-level and block-level blocks.

The role requires hands-on Cadence tool expertise, deep timing knowledge, and the ability to work on complex flows, including power-grid verification and debugging. Remote-India option available.

Qualifications

• 10-14 years of experience in physical design (excluding other areas such as logic design or CA).
• Strong understanding of EDA implementation for chip design with hands-on Cadence tool experience.
• Deep knowledge of timing concepts and timing closure techniques for chip design.
• Experience with top-level and block-level physical design; hierarchical floorplanning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement chip-level physical design with a focus on timing closure.
• Apply low-power design techniques and debugging across blocks.
• Work with Cadence tools for physical design and routing tasks.
• Support power integrity verification and EM/IR checks throughout the flow.
