Apex Companies is seeking a CAD/GIS Technician 2 in Florida to support the design of municipal infrastructure projects. You will create precise 2D/3D drawings and models of water, wastewater, and site utilities, collaborating with engineers and project managers to meet project timelines.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in municipal infrastructure drafting, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with Revit or AutoCAD Plant 3D.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD Plant 3D, or similar 3D modeling software.
• 5+ years experience with municipal infrastructure projects (water/wastewater, site utilities, structural layouts) preferred.
• Associate’s degree preferred but not required; equivalent work experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Draft, update, and maintain detailed 2D and 3D drawings using Revit or AutoCAD Plant 3D.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to interpret requirements into design documents.
• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain project files, revise drawings, and assist in documentation for approvals.
• Support data collection, field measurements, and design modifications.
