Apex Companies, LLC is seeking a skilled CAD/GIS Technician to support municipal infrastructure projects, producing precise 2D drawings and 3D models of water and wastewater systems, site utilities, and structural layouts in collaboration with engineers and project managers.

Ideal candidates have Revit and AutoCAD Plant 3D proficiency, 3+ years of municipal project experience, strong attention to detail, and solid organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with municipal infrastructure projects (water/wastewater, site utilities, structural layouts).
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD Plant 3D for 2D/3D drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality drawings.
• Excellent organization, communication, and time-management skills.
• Associate degree or equivalent work experience considered; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Drafting & Modeling: Create, update, and maintain detailed 2D and 3D drawings using Revit, AutoCAD Plant 3D, or similar software.
• Project Collaboration: Work with engineers and project managers to translate requirements into design documents.
• Quality Control: Ensure drawings meet standards, specs, and regulatory requirements.
• Documentation & File Management: Maintain project files and prepare documentation for approvals.
• Technical Support: Assist with data collection, field measurements, and design modifications.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with new drafting technologies and best practices.
