Apex Companies is seeking a skilled CAD/GIS Technician to support municipal infrastructure design in Florida. You will draft, model, and refine 2D/3D drawings using Revit and AutoCAD Plant 3D, collaborating with engineers and project managers to deliver accurate documents for water, wastewater, and site utilities.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD Plant 3D, or similar 3D modeling and drafting software.
• 5+ years experience with municipal infrastructure projects (water/wastewater, site utilities, structural layouts) preferred.
• Associate's degree preferred but not required; equivalent work experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Drafting & Modeling: Create, update, and maintain detailed 2D and 3D drawings using Revit, AutoCAD Plant 3D, or similar design software.
• Project Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and project managers to interpret project requirements and translate them into accurate design documents.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all drawings and models comply with industry standards, municipal specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Documentation & File Management: Maintain organized project files, revise drawings as needed, and assist in preparing documentation packages for client and regulatory approvals.
• Technical Support: Assist with data collection, field measurements, and design modifications to ensure design accuracy and consistency.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with new drafting technologies, software updates, and industry best practices to enhance efficiency and quality.
