Job summary

Apex Companies, a leading engineering and design firm based in Naples, FL, seeks a Sr CAD/GIS Technician to support water/wastewater and site utilities projects. You will draft precise 2D/3D drawings, model components, and collaborate with engineers to deliver accurate, timely designs.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in municipal infrastructure, strong Revit/AutoCAD Plant 3D skills, and an associate degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD Plant 3D, or similar 3D modeling and drafting software.
• 5+ years experience with municipal infrastructure projects (water/wastewater, site utilities, structural layouts).
• Associate's degree preferred but not required; equivalent work experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Drafting & Modeling: Create, update, and maintain detailed 2D and 3D drawings using Revit, AutoCAD Plant 3D, or similar design software.
• Project Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and project managers to interpret project requirements and translate them into design documents.
• Quality Control: Ensure drawings and models comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Documentation & File Management: Maintain organized project files and prepare documentation packages for approvals.
• Technical Support: Assist with data collection, field measurements, and design modifications for accuracy.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with drafting technologies and best practices to enhance efficiency.
