Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Senior CAD Drafter for Ground Support Engineering Services on the Merritt Island site. You will lead complex mechanical/structural design using Creo, Windchill, and MBD, driving standards and process improvements across multi-discipline teams.

You will mentor drafters, manage ECRs, and coordinate CPD/PLM workflows to support New Glenn launch operations and ground support equipment development. A strong leadership mindset and US work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with large, enterprise-level CAD assemblies and drawings.
• Strong knowledge of ASME Y14.100/14.5/14.41.
• Proven ability to lead design teams and manage changes.
• US citizenship or legal right to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Own complex tasks and act as senior technical design authority.
• Lead Model-Based Definition strategy and implementation.
• Design complex mechanical/structural systems using Creo.
• Coordinate CAD/PLM standards and templates.
• Mentor drafters and review drawings/models for accuracy.
