Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking an entry‑level CAD Drafter II to develop, maintain, and release engineering drawings. You will work with Creo Parametric 12 and Windchill PLM to create 3D models, 2D drawings, and MBD data across mechanical, structural, fluid, and electrical disciplines for ground support equipment supporting New Glenn launch operations.

You will be paired with a senior mentor and undergo structured onboarding, tool training, and rotational projects while contributing to safe human

Qualifications

• 2-year AS degree in CAD/Drafting or equivalent
• Foundational GD&T knowledge
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detail part and assembly models and drawings
• Support MBD datasets with 3D annotations and PMI
• Assist mechanical/structural design layouts and piping/tubing layouts
• Contribute to electrical design enclosure assemblies and cable routing
• Review drawings for compliance with ASME Y14 standards
• Support Windchill product structure and change workflows
• Apply DFMA and cost/performance tradeoffs in design reviews
