Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an entry-level CAD Drafter I to develop, maintain, and release engineering drawings and 3D models for ground support equipment related to New Glenn operations. You will work with Creo Parametric 12, Windchill PLM, and fellow engineers to ensure accuracy and compliance with ASME/Y14 standards.

This role provides mentorship, onboarding, and rotational projects across core disciplines, with emphasis on quality and safety in spaceflight applications.

Qualifications

• 2-year AS degree in CAD/Drafting or equivalent tech certification.
• Foundational GD&T knowledge.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detail part and assembly models and drawings using Creo Parametric 12 and Windchill PLM under guidance.
• Support Model-Based Definition (MBD) datasets with 3D annotations and PMI.
• Assist mechanical/structural layout, piping routes, and electrical enclosure layouts.
