Job summary

SAIC in North Charleston, SC is seeking a self-motivated Drafter / CAD Operator III to supply design and drafting support for CANES team. You will help create assembly models and drawings and prepare Technical Data Packages (TDPs) in line with ASME and DoD drawing standards.

The role requires 2+ years with SolidWorks or similar 3D modeling software and AutoCAD, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and US citizenship with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4+ years related experience
• Associate degree with 2+ years related experience
• US Citizen with ability to obtain Public Trust clearance

Responsibilities

• Provide drafting support to complete assembly models and drawings
• Create and update Technical Data Packages (TDPs)
• Coordinate with drafting team lead and project engineers to meet customer demands
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
