Job summary

SAIC is seeking a CAD Operator IV to join our team at Crane NSWC in Crane, IN. The role involves drafting and documentation support for NSWC Crane, producing/updating Technical Data Packages using Solid Edge 3D parametric software, and training as needed to follow required processes and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 6 years of drafting/design experience.
• Experience with 3D CAD software (Solid Edge, SolidWorks).
• Familiar with ASME Y14.100 and MIL-STD-31000 drawing standards.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance (Interim required).

Responsibilities

• Create and modify detailed models and drawings using SolidWorks (and other CAD software).
• Collaborate with customers, engineers and technicians to capture and revise design documentation.
• Work independently and with a team to implement design changes and maintain documentation.
