Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a CAD Designer III to support the New Glenn program in the Greater Seattle area. You will create and maintain structural product definitions, prepare detailed layouts, drawings, and datasets, and coordinate fabrication and installation of systems.

You will rely on Creo Parametric and Windchill, apply GD&T (ASME Y14.5), manage large CAD assemblies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive scheduling and technical requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in aerospace development or similar
• Experience with Creo Parametric for design and integration
• Experience in windings, GD&T analysis, ASME Y14.5
• Experience selecting aerospace hardware and fasteners
• Experience managing large CAD assemblies

Responsibilities

• Design layouts and drawings and resolve discrepancies
• Coordinate fabrication, installation, and commissioning of systems
• Build models and drawings of designs
• Provide guidance on schedule and technical requirements to internal customers
• Apply design techniques to depict engineering datasets (detail, assembly)
