Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions seeks a Solutions Architect to lead architectural design and technical strategy for high-speed cable backplane systems. You will define system-level requirements, develop specifications, and serve as the primary technical liaison between OEMs and Amphenol.

The role requires 10+ years in interconnect solutions, strong modeling skills, and the ability to mentor engineers while driving cross-functional programs to successful volume production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
• 10+ years of technical guidance on interconnect solutions.
• Deep knowledge of interconnects and system architecture.
• Experience with modeling tools and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and technical strategy for customer CBS solutions.
• Define system-level requirements for high-speed signals, thermal, and scalability.
• Develop specifications, schematics, and proof-of-concept models.
• Coordinate with OEMs, PMs, and Product Line Managers to deliver solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead CBS front-end team.
• Present to executives and key stakeholders with clear technical narratives.
