Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions seeks a Systems Architect to lead architectural design for high-speed backplane connectors, aligning with customer system-level needs. You will steer the product roadmap with cross-functional teams and present to executives while enabling solutions for hyperscale, AI/ML infrastructure.

The role requires 10+ years in hardware/interconnect, strong communication, and travel readiness within IT/Datacom markets.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering background preferred.
Advanced degree (MS/PhD) desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead architectural design and technical strategy for high-speed backplane connector solutions.
Serve as technical face of HSBP for hyperscale and AI/ML accounts.
Guide product roadmap with engineering, mechanical design, and product management.
Deliver high-level technical presentations to stakeholders.
Provide advanced technical support on backplane interconnect issues.
Differentiate HSBP products against competitors.
Collaborate with optics and other units for a unified narrative.
Occasional travel required.
