Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead high‑level technical programs for CBS products in a global setting. You will drive architecture, define system requirements, and coordinate with OEMs and internal teams to deliver scalable, high‑performance backplane solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of interconnect design and technical guidance experience.
• Experience with modeling tools and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and technical strategy for CBS customer solutions.
• Define system-level requirements, ensuring SI, mechanical, thermal, and scalability goals.
• Develop specifications, schematics, and proof-of-concept models for cables.
• Serve as primary contact between cable cartridge manufacturer and OEM.
• Mentor junior engineers within the CBS front-end engineering team.
• Collaborate with multiple BUs to ensure seamless integration of CBS products.
