Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Advanced degree (MS/PhD) preferred.
• 10+ years providing technical guidance on interconnect solutions.
• Deep knowledge of interconnect solutions and system architecture.
• Experience with modeling tools and Microsoft Office Products.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and technical strategy for customer solutions involving Amphenol Cable Backplane Systems (CBS).
• Define system-level requirements, ensuring high-speed signal integrity, mechanical alignment, thermal efficiency, and scalability.
• Develop technical specifications, schematics, and proof-of-concept models for cable backplane.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the cable cartridge manufacturer and the OEM.
• Develop understanding of OEM technical requirements, goals, and challenges.
• Facilitate regular meetings and updates with OEM stakeholders.
• Address customer concerns and ensure alignment between organizations.
• Provide strategic technical support for CBS products.
• Prepare materials and lead high-level product presentations to executives.
• Provide advanced customer service to solve complex interconnect problems and inquiries.
• Devise strategies to differentiate our products.
• Lead efforts to meet/exceed strategic objectives.
• Mentor junior engineers within CBS frontend engineering.
• Collaborate with multiple BUs to ensure integration of CBS products.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for CBS products.
• Participate in industry conferences to stay updated.
• Ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
• Travel 30%-50%.
