Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems—Missile Defense Integration seeks a Staff Integration & Test Engineer (SME) to lead C2BMC regional applications analysis. Based in Colorado Springs, you will translate complex BMDS behaviors into actionable findings and guide test and integration across DoD stakeholders.

You will mentor junior analysts, support warfighter training, and contribute to warfighter CONOPS while coordinating with engineering teams and test ranges. Security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of experience, or Master’s with 10 years, or 16 years total experience.
• Active Secret clearance required to start; Top Secret clearance preferred.
• Proven record of producing integration, test, and analysis reports for large real-time systems.
• Hands-on UNIX/Linux experience (including IBM AIX).
• Experience with Agile tools: JIRA, Bitbucket, FishEye, Crucible.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; reliable and quality-focused.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and influencing decisions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Systems Integrator and Analyst for C2BMC regional applications; troubleshoot issues.
• Develop and execute test verification plans; assess lab build health.
• Lead and coordinate integration tasks across concurrent builds and labs.
• Interface with DoD leaders, test ranges, and engineers; present findings clearly.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to IPTs and risk metrics.
• Define warfighter CONOPS/TTPs and support distributed training scenarios.
