Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an Engineer Systems – Sys Integration Engr (26-456) based at Schriever Space Force Base, CO. The role supports the C2BMC program for ballistic missile defense, requiring on-site work with travel to fielded sites.

The candidate will integrate hardware/software, develop test plans, and analyze logs to ensure mission readiness. A Secret clearance and 8140 certification are required to start.

Qualifications

• Current government-issued security clearance at start (Secret).
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 2+ years experience; or Master’s/PhD.
• Active 8140 certification (IAT Level II or higher) at application time.
• Active in-scope Secret clearance required to start.
• Domain expertise in Networking, Linux, and/or Windows.
• Hands-on Linux/Windows system administration, IP networking concepts, configurations, and basic troubleshooting.
• Experience with virtualized environments and virtual machines.
• Ability to read ICDs, network diagrams, and architecture drawings.
• Experience scripting (Bash, Python, PowerShell) to parse logs and analyze data.
• Experience analyzing logs, network configs, and message flows to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Integrate C2BMC hardware/software into testbeds and conduct full system checkouts of VMs, networks, and message flows.
• Collaborate with internal/external teams to test, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system issues.
• Author test plans and PRs; provide feedback to developers and stakeholders.
• Create/modify scripts to extract info from logs and analyze input/output and traffic.
• Operate and troubleshoot C2BMC systems during tests, lab, ground, and fielding activities.
• Support meetings with National Team groups and government customers with technical input and results.
