Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems—Missile Defense Integration seeks a Principal Integration & Test Engineer to join the C2BMC team at Schriever Space Force Base, CO. You will integrate hardware and software, ensure end-to-end system performance, and coordinate with multiple teams to deliver mission-ready capabilities.

The role requires a Secret clearance, 8140 certification, and strong experience in networking, Linux, and Windows, with agile collaboration across a distributed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field plus 5 years experience; or Master’s with 3 years; or 9 years overall.
• Active Government-Issued 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher at time of application.
• Active Secret clearance at start date.
• 3–5 years of experience as a system integrator or similar with mission/system focus.
• Domain expertise in Networking, Linux, and Windows.

Responsibilities

• Integrate C2BMC hardware and software into testbeds and operational systems, incl. VMs, networks, and message flows.
• Conduct full system checkouts and verify end-to-end functionality for tests and operations.
• Collaborate with multiple organizations within MDS to test, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
• Develop and execute test plans; document results and provide feedback to developers and stakeholders.
• Create and modify scripts to extract info from logs; analyze traffic to identify trends and root causes.
• Operate C2BMC systems during integration activities, tests, and fielding events.
