Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems—Missile Defense Integration in Colorado Springs, CO, seeks a Sr Principal Integration and Test Engineer (Lead) to lead C2BMC software integration efforts and coordinate complex I&T activities. On-site role with no remote option and a Secret clearance requirement.

The candidate will plan, execute, and document installation, configuration, and verification across Linux/Windows environments, while ensuring EVM compliance and clear customer deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with 8 years of experience, or Master with 6 years, or 12 years experience in related field.
• Current, active Government-Issued 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND, etc.).
• Current, active Secret security clearance to start.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software integrators supporting C2BMC I&T.
• Plan and manage teamwork using Jira; forecast velocity and bandwidth.
• Ensure EVM compliance with status reporting and risk management.
• Lead installation and configuration of Linux/Windows hardware across environments.
• Document installation steps for customer delivery; ensure repeatability.
• Develop installation scripts and automation; streamline configuration.
• Create test plans and procedures; lead integration and test execution.
• Coordinate software integration tests for operation and interfaces.
• Work with developers to diagnose root causes and file actionable reports.
• Implement IA directives, run IA scans, coordinate remediation.
• Coordinate daily integration activities with local and cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of integration processes and tools.
