Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems—Missile Defense Integration seeks a Staff Integration & Test Engineer (SME) based in Colorado Springs, CO. You will lead C2BMC regional applications integration, test, and mission performance analysis, coordinating with DoD stakeholders and engineering teams.

The role requires a security clearance (Secret) and extensive BMDS experience, with hands-on UNIX/Linux, scripting, and agile tooling. On-site work with no remote option is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 12 years’ related experience or Master’s with 10 years; or 16 years’ experience in lieu of degree.
• Active in-scope Secret security clearance required to start.
• 8+ years in systems integration, test, and analysis of complex defense systems.
• Proven ability to produce authoritative integration and test reports.
• Hands-on UNIX/Linux experience and scripting in Python or MATLAB.
• Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA, Bitbucket, FishEye, Crucible.
• Strong analytical skills and clear communication for senior stakeholders.
• Understanding of systems engineering lifecycles and processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Systems Integrator and Analyst for C2BMC regional applications.
• Lead integration, test, verification, and mission performance analysis.
• Translate complex system behavior into actionable findings for program decisions.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with DoD stakeholders.
• Develop and execute test verification plans in lab environments.
• Interface with scrum teams and lead architects across sites.
