Northrop Grumman Space Systems - Missile Defense Integration offers an excellent opportunity for a Principal Integration & Test Engineer (26-418) to join our team of skilled and diverse professionals. Based at Schriever Space Force Base, CO, this role is essential to supporting the U.S.

President, the Secretary of Defense, and combatant commanders at the strategic, regional, and operational levels. As a System Integration Engineer on the C2BMC I&T team, you will integrate complex hardware

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5 years of experience or Master’s with 3 years; or 9 years in lieu of a degree.
• Active Government-Issued 8140 certification at IAT Level II+ at start.
• Current in-scope Secret security clearance at start.
• 3–5 years as system integrator or similar for mission/enterprise systems.
• Domain expertise in Networking, Linux, and Windows.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
• Willingness for non-standard hours and travel to field sites as needed.
• Hands-on integration and test in distributed/virtualized environments.
• Experience with Agile lifecycle tools and PRs.

Responsibilities

• Integrate C2BMC hardware and software into testbeds and systems, including VM, networks, and message flows.
• Conduct full system checkouts and verify end-to-end functionality for tests.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams across MDS to troubleshoot issues.
• Develop and execute test plans; document results and provide feedback to developers.
• Author PRs to document issues and track resolutions.
• Create/modify scripts to extract data from logs and analyze traffic for trends.
• Operate and troubleshoot C2BMC systems during integration and tests.
• Support technical meetings with National Team groups and government customers.
• Collaborate in Agile teams to define and verify capabilities and defects.
