If you've built the spatial worlds for games, simulations, or autonomous systems, this role defines how environments are structured, queried, and updated at high frequency. This deeply technical position combines computational geometry, real-time world modeling, and large-scale simulation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience in spatial systems, world modeling, or simulation.
• Expert-level C++ skills (C++20+), template metaprogramming, move semantics, SIMD, and systems optimization.
• Hands-on experience building world or scene representations in game engines, simulators, or autonomous stacks.
• Strong background in computational geometry: coordinate transforms, BVH/octrees, proximity/collision.
• Low-latency, high-throughput software design for real-time environments.
• Proficiency in Python and shell scripting for tooling and automation.
• Experience with Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot or AI-assisted development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Architect World & Scene Representation Systems with ECS, spatial indexing, and 4D object management.
• Own Mapping & Geometry Pipelines between raw sensor data and path planning.
• Drive performance with highly optimized C++20, profiling, and memory-conscious design.
• Lead Technical Strategy & Integration across air, ground, and maritime autonomy stacks.
• Collaborate & mentor across sensor, planning, and simulation teams to meet stack needs.
