Job summary

Sturgeon Electric Company is seeking a Senior Estimator C&I to lead complex bids for commercial and industrial electrical projects. You will guide the estimating team, develop competitive pricing, and review drawings, specs, and subcontractor quotes to ensure accurate, compliant estimates.

The role emphasizes collaboration with suppliers, adherence to MYR Group policies, and driving continuous improvement in estimate quality and profitability.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of electrical construction estimating experience.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
Knowledge of NEC and able to read blueprints and drawings.

Responsibilities

Prepare estimates per MYR Group policies and procedures.
Review specifications, drawings, and attend pre-bid meetings to define scope.
Develop competitive pricing strategies with alternates and contingencies.
Lead estimators in takeoffs and manage subcontractor quotes.
Coordinate bid reviews with stakeholders and ensure compliance.
