Job summary

Sturgeon Electric Company, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee cost estimates and general operational oversight of electrical construction projects. The role emphasizes preparing labor and material cost estimates, schedules, and active coordination with clients and field personnel.

The candidate will review budgets, manage daily project activities, and communicate updates to the management team, ensuring constructability and compliance with NEC and local codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Construction Management or related field with relevant experience considered in lieu of degree.
• 3+ years of project management and estimating experience in electrical industry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete cost estimates (labor and material) for projects within deadlines.
• Prepare project construction schedules and look-ahead documents.
• Review and monitor job costs versus budgets; report to management.
• Coordinate meetings and communicate with customers, subcontractors, and team members.
• Assist in change orders and prepare bills of material for purchasing.
