Job summary

Amentum seeks a Sr C/C++ Software Developer to join our Dahlgren, VA team supporting Naval projects. You will contribute to software development, integration, testing, and deployment for SLBM weapon systems using Agile practices. You will work with a cross-functional team, utilize C, C++, Git, and Jira, and communicate effectively with customers and engineering staff.

U.S. citizenship and Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 1–10 years of software development experience.
• Familiarity with Agile development and Scrum.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with customers and engineers.
• Active Secret U.S. Government clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Valid REAL ID driver’s license and reliable transportation.
