Amentum seeks software engineering professionals to support C/C++ software development and integration for Naval projects in Dahlgren, Virginia. This on-site role contributes to our Software Center of Excellence and involves collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver mission-critical software.

Qualifications

• 0–10 years of experience or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
• Familiarity with Agile Development.
• Excellent communication with customers and engineering personnel.
• Must have an active Secret U.S. Government clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate software using C/C++ for Naval projects in Dahlgren, VA.
• Support SLBM weapon system software development under Agile practices.
• Collaborate with a Senior Amentum developer to meet schedule-driven goals.
• Contribute to software development activities and problem solving.
• Work independently and with teams across organizations to meet objectives.
