Job summary

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking a Sr. Buyer in Aliso Viejo, CA to support our client on a temporary basis. The role entails coordinating global procurement to meet master schedules, managing POs, and optimizing inventory.

Responsibilities include supplier relationship management, data-driven production decisions, cost savings initiatives, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company standards. This is a 5-month, non-exempt temporary position with a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement/purchasing experience.
• Experience with SAP or related MRP systems.
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP, BOM, and planning.
• Lean principles and supply chain/material flow management knowledge.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience developing and implementing ordering policies.

• Ensure compliance with laws, QMS requirements, and ethics standards.

Job Title: Sr. Buyer

Location: Aliso Viejo, CA

The hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $42.00 – $50.00 per hour, depending on geographic location, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Employment Type: Temporary, approximately 5 months

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week

Job Summary

• Keep critical projects on track despite delays or obstacles
• Take a leadership role in process improvement and mentor less experienced peers
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, Quality Management System requirements, and company ethics standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant procurement/purchasing experience
• Experience with SAP or related MRP systems
• Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, BOM, and planning
• Experience with lean principles and supply chain/material flow management
• Solid understanding of manufacturing, purchasing, scheduling, and planning processes
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
• Experience developing and implementing ordering policies
• Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Sound judgment and strong time management skills
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, Teams, and Outlook
• Preferred: medical device supply base knowledge, medical device manufacturing experience, APICS or similar certification
• Physical: extended computer use, extended sitting/standing, light lifting up to 25 lbs.
