Job summary

Perk in Chicago is seeking an experienced Senior Business Travel Consultant to service our NAM business clients, manage bookings, amendments, and provide proactive travel solutions.

You will work with Amadeus/Sabre GDS, communicate by chat, phone, and email, and mentor junior teammates while maintaining high 7-Star service levels.

This on-site role offers 40 hours weekly, training ramp, and a competitive compensation including base salary and stock options.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of Amadeus/Sabre or similar GDS system, including reissuing tickets.
• Proficient in air fares and ticketing.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
• Understanding of North American business culture and customer expectations.
• Previous experience as a Business Travel Consultant.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-class, 7-star service to business travelers, managing bookings, amendments, and cancellations.
• Arrange travel (domestic and international) for key accounts, including flights, car rentals, and hotels.
• Work independently, handling client inquiries and providing solutions without supervision.
• Communicate with clients via live chat, telephone, and email with professionalism.
• Undertake travel reservations and amendments, prioritizing accuracy and service quality.
• Maintain and develop client relationships, supporting the travel process end-to-end.
• Provide suitable travel options to meet client requirements.
• Ensure SLAs are met and manage GDS queues.
• Mentor junior team members and assist Team Leader as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high service levels.
