Job summary

University of Wisconsin Oshkosh seeks a Business Systems Analyst III to serve as the primary liaison between functional offices and the UW System PeopleSoft development team. You will ensure complex business needs are documented and addressed, supporting the Campus Solutions system and coordinating development requests across key departments.

You will prepare staff for updates, troubleshoot issues, and author design documents for new development while guiding testing efforts and facilitating

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in a business analyst or functional analyst role supporting enterprise administrative systems in a complex organizational environment.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into functional specifications or design documents for technical teams.
• Experience supporting or coordinating system testing, including unit and system testing activities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience troubleshooting issues within enterprise application workflows or system integrations.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains liaison between functional offices and the development team for PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
• Coordinate system updates and manage development requests lifecycle across Registrar, Financial Aid, Student Accounts, and Admissions.
• Prepare functional staff for PeopleSoft updates and PUM releases; troubleshoot workflow and integration issues.
• Author design documents for new development requests and coordinate unit and system testing efforts.
• Provide triage and escalation support as first contact for functional users experiencing system issues.
