Job summary

The University System Office is seeking an entry-level Business Systems Analyst to analyze how information systems address complex administrative problems and support end users across multiple universities in Georgia.

This on-site, full-time role requires a bachelor’s degree with at least two years of related experience. Strong SQL familiarity and ability to work with PeopleSoft/Oracle are preferred. Travel may be required to support organizational objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and a minimum of two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Some familiarity with SQL and the ability to analyze scripts that will be run against the Oracle database.
• Ability to explain functional concepts to the business stakeholders.
• Must be able to travel as needed, including several consecutive overnight stays to support objectives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary SME, providing functional support to end users on a single module within a core application system.
• Support integration of various application systems between core systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues requiring high level business expertise.
• Provide end user training and create test cases and scripts.
• Participate in upgrade, patch, and fix analysis and system testing.
