Job summary

Chase is seeking a Senior Business Relationship Manager in Banking to manage a 40–50 client portfolio with annual revenues over $3M. You’ll drive business development, deepen product use, and secure referrals to grow Chase’s primary bank share.

You will deliver high-touch client experiences, partner across Private Bank, Wealth Management, and Middle Market, and ensure risk controls are followed in all client interactions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Business Banking Relationship Management role or related business lending experience.
• Strong current business network; active involvement in community organizations such as Chambers of Commerce.
• Demonstrates strong tactical business development and negotiation skills.
• Strong relationship-building and excellent communication skills with individuals at all levels, internally and externally.
• Strong knowledge of deposit and cash management products and services, and knowledge of business credit underwriting.
• Balance needs of clients with associated risks and interests of the firm.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Acquire, retain and deepen a portfolio of business clients and prospects; provide business deposit and cash management solutions and manage business credit opportunities up to $15 million.
• Deliver an outstanding experience to Chase business clients with tailored banking solutions.
• Grow portfolio by prospecting for new clients in expansion mode and cultivate long-term primary relationships.
• Develop referrals in partnership with Private Bank, Wealth Management, Middle Market and One Chase.
• Leverage knowledge of diverse businesses and markets to develop networks and opportunities.
• Build relationships through in-person/virtual calls to understand client needs and develop full financial relationships.
• Coordinate with product specialists to onboard clients and deliver end-to-end banking services.
• Follow risk management protocols and regulatory requirements.
