Job summary

Chenega Services & Federal Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services’ company, seeks a Senior Business Process Engineer to support FHFA by analyzing, improving, and sustaining mission-critical processes. You will work with government stakeholders, leadership, and technical teams to identify inefficiencies, design future-state processes, and lead measurable improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, management, information systems, public administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in business process engineering, process improvement, management consulting, operations analysis, or related discipline.
• Experience supporting federal government programs, agencies, or mission environments.
• Ability to analyze complex processes and lead cross-functional improvement initiatives from assessment through implementation.
• Experience with process-mapping tools such as Visio or Lucidchart.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end assessments of complex business processes, workflows, policies, and operating models.
• Facilitate stakeholder interviews, workshops, and working sessions to document current-state processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop future-state process designs, SOPs, process maps, value-stream maps, and implementation roadmaps.
• Apply data-driven analysis to quantify process performance and identify root causes.
• Lead continuous-improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and related methods.
• Define performance measures, KPIs, SLAs, and reporting to monitor outcomes.
• Translate business needs into actionable requirements with program managers and tech teams.
• Support change-management activities including communications, training, adoption planning, and transition.
