Job summary

The MIL Corporation is seeking a Senior Process Improvement and Modernization Consultant (Business Analysis, Senior Analyst) to work on a Federal client in Washington, DC. This role leads current-state analysis of financial management operations and facilitates working sessions where process owners and leadership reach decisions to drive modernization of policies, processes, and systems.

Hybrid schedule with possible in-person meetings at the client site in Washington, DC; posting anticipates

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading process improvement or business transformation.
• Ability to independently assess unfamiliar operations and produce current-state analysis.
• Experience facilitating sessions with senior leadership.
• Experience with US federal agencies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess, improve, and modernize financial management processes for a federal client.
• Map end-to-end processes across organizational and system boundaries.
• Design and facilitate working sessions with process and system owners.
• Develop sequenced recommendations for process, policy, governance, and systems.
• Draft SOPs and policy documentation for staff and leadership.
• Prepare findings reports and executive briefings to guide modernization priorities.
