Job summary

Capgemini Government Solutions LLC is seeking a Business Process Engineer to evaluate, design, and optimize enterprise workflows for cleared government environments. You will map as-is and to-be processes using BPMN 2.0 and work with cross-functional teams to align policy, IT modernization, and operational transformation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, MIS, or related discipline.
• 4+ years of professional experience in business process re-engineering (BPR), process modeling, operational analysis, or continuous process improvement.
• Must possess an active U.S. Government Security Clearance (Secret).
• Excellent facilitation, interview, and mediation skills with ability to translate complex technical information for non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in process modeling tools (Microsoft Visio) and BPMN 2.0.

Responsibilities

• Model complex business, operational, and technical workflows; create current-state and future-state maps (BPMN 2.0, UML).
• Perform root-cause analysis, value-stream mapping, and gap analyses to remove bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Lead discovery workshops with technical leaders, PMs, architects, and stakeholders to capture requirements and dependencies.
• Establish KPIs and target metrics to measure CPI and process improvements over time.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, process charters, playbooks, and policy alignment documentation.
• Collaborate with change management to design implementation plans and training materials.
• Translate optimized processes into functional system requirements, automation workflows, or enterprise software updates.
