Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. seeks a Business Management Manager 2 in Apopka, FL, to lead financial forecasting, EV management, and monthly reporting for the Laser Systems Operating Unit.

You will drive program budgeting, EAC development, and variance analysis while coordinating pricing and proposals with senior management. The role requires strong leadership, extensive experience with government contracts and DS FAR clauses, and the ability to navigate complex financial controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 8 years of related experience in finance, accounting, or program control, or Master’s with 6 years.
• Experience with Earned Value Management.
• Understanding of DOD contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, and the FAR.
• Prior experience with government budgeting and forecasting and Annual Operating Plan development.
• Prior people leadership experience.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Willingness to travel domestically 10% of the time.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead business management functions including financial forecasting, EV management, and monthly reporting.
• Oversee line forecasting, work authorization, EV reporting, program budgeting, EAC development, and various financial reporting activities.
• Develop business strategy and forecasting through LRSP and AOP, and present financial data to leadership and customers.
• Support pricing and proposal activities, review RFPs, FAR clauses, subcontractor flow-downs, and pricing strategies.
• Manage risks with multiple contract types from execution and financial perspectives; coordinate cost and schedule analyses.
• Ensure compliance with NGC policies, internal controls, and support audits.
• Provide direct management for a team of Business Management analysts and develop talent.
