Truist in Charlotte, NC seeks a senior leader to head the Marketing & Communications risk governance team and establish the risk management framework across the organization. You will lead risk identification, governance routines, issue management, and execution priorities, partnering with Marketing & Communications leaders to ensure enterprise risk requirements are embedded in business activities.

This role guides governance reporting, training, and escalation processes, ensuring accountability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in relevant fields.
• 10+ years in governance, risk, operations, or program management.
• Experience supporting governance programs and reporting to leadership.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Experience preparing governance reporting and metrics.

Responsabilités

• Lead execution of business priorities while aligning with risk governance expectations.
• Identify, assess, and manage risks in operations and initiatives.
• Oversee governance routines, reporting, and escalation processes.
• Implement enterprise risk programs, policies, and standards.
• Monitor risk indicators and control environment; escalate issues as needed.
• Coordinate risk assessments, reviews, and governance activities.
• Collaborate with control, compliance, audit, and risk partners to address risks.
• Promote accountability for risk ownership across teams.
• Support action plans to address risks and governance concerns.
• Provide leadership to teams responsible for governance and risk activities.
