Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a Business Development Manager 3 to join the Propulsion Systems team in Bacchus and Promontory, UT. The role leads business development and strategy for SRM programs, driving sustainment and growth of existing targets while shaping future capture plans.

The ideal candidate has 5-8 years in aerospace government procurement, a bachelor's degree, and a current Secret clearance.

Qualifications

5-8 years of experience in aerospace government procurement of weapons systems.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience in capture management, business development, project/business/program management or engineering.
Ability to conduct independent initial technical and concept discussions with Space Science and Technology community.
Must possess a current Secret clearance at the time of application.

Responsibilities

Managing task distribution and workflow that support proposals for new and follow-on business.
Actively communicate with customer community and stakeholders; conduct initial business and technical discussions.
Translate customer needs into requirements and tailor company offerings.
Oversee all aspects of the Northrop Grumman BAP for growth strategies and capture plans.
Assist capture/proposal managers with proposals and execution.
Participate in key capture pursuits.
