Job summary

2G Energy Rental NA is seeking a Business Development professional to drive revenue for its temporary power solutions, focusing on natural gas and propane generation and engaging utilities, microgrid developers, industrial facilities, commercial clients, EPCs and data center developers.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years in sales/BD in temporary/rental power, strong knowledge of behind-the-meter generation, proven ability to close deals, and exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering, Business, Energy Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or technical sales within temporary/rental power generation.
• Strong knowledge of rental power and behind-the-meter generation markets.
• Experience working with C&I customers, utilities, microgrid developers, EPCs and data center developers.
• Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies, close deals, and meet revenue targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills.
• Work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
