PNG Worldwide is seeking a driven Business Development Executive – Logistics to generate new business primarily in LTL transportation while showcasing PNG Worldwide's broader capabilities in truckload, international freight forwarding, and managed transportation.

The role demands a proactive, competitive sales professional who can prospect, build relationships, and close deals, with remote work exposure after year one and performance-based compensation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of successful B2B sales experience.
• Transportation, LTL, freight brokerage, trucking, or supply chain experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to prospect and develop new business.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Confident communicating with decision-makers by telephone, virtually, and in person.
• Consultative and solution-oriented sales approach.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new business opportunities, primarily within the LTL transportation market.
• Build a pipeline of qualified prospective customers.
• Engage prospective customers through telephone, email, networking, referrals, and other business-development channels.
• Conduct consultative conversations to understand customers' transportation and supply chain challenges.
• Develop customized transportation solutions leveraging PNG Worldwide's capabilities.
• Prepare proposals, pricing strategies, and customer presentations.
• Negotiate and close new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong long-term customer relationships.
• Identify opportunities to expand customer relationships across additional transportation services.
• Coordinate customer onboarding and implementation with PNG operations teams.
• Work with operations and customer service to ensure service expectations are met.
• Maintain opportunities, customer activity, and pipeline in HubSpot CRM.
• Meet or exceed sales, revenue, and business-development objectives.
