Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a seasoned sales professional to secure and retain business through consultative, proactive sales with decision-makers at sponsors in the life sciences sector. You will cultivate key relationships, maintain cross-sell awareness, and drive proposals and contracts toward closure.

The role requires 10 years' related experience (3 in pharma/CRO), strong analytical and communication skills, and 30-40% travel. Based in the United States (Seattle area) with base pay opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/related field required.
• 10 years related experience including 3 years in CRO/pharma and/or sales.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
• Proven track record with mid- to high-level contacts.
• Excellent business/industry awareness and sales skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively prospect and leverage new business opportunities within accounts.
• Cultivate long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
• Maintain knowledge of IQVIA services for cross-sell opportunities.
• Identify customer needs and propose strategy/solutions.
• Coordinate with contracts and proposals to develop bids.
• Lead sales presentations with operations and managers.
• Ensure follow-up and completion of contractual documents.
• Record activities in CRM and report to management.
• Travel 30-40% as required.
