Job summary

Huntington Bancshares, Inc. is looking for a Business Banking Underwriter IV to assess credit worthiness for business loans in a centralized lending environment. Responsible for underwriting loans, maintaining a personal pipeline, and ensuring policy compliance.

You will review financial data to support solid credit decisions on complex loans up to $10MM, apply single approval authority up to $4MM, and collaborate with credit and risk teams to meet departmental goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years' experience in business or commercial underwriting in a centralized lending environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains an individual pipeline of work to support Business Banking production.
• Reviews financial and credit information to make sound credit decisions on loans up to $10MM.
• Utilizes single approval authority up to $4MM.
• Collaborates with credit and segment risk to meet department goals.
• Acts as a mentor for newer hires and supports the UW II/III job families as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
