Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Business Banking Underwriter IV to assess creditworthiness and ensure compliance with lending policies. You will manage a personal pipeline, review financials, and make sound credit decisions for complex commercial loans up to $10MM.

This role requires leadership experience and the ability to underwrite exposures beyond $4MM, with strong communication and organization skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 7+ years’ experience with business or commercial underwriting in a centralized lending environment

Responsibilities

• Maintains an individual pipeline of work to support Business Banking production.
• Reviews financial and credit information to make sound credit decisions on complex loans up to $10MM.
• Uses authority to approve up to $4MM and assesses borrower risk.
• Mentors new hires and supports UW I–III as needed.
• Collaborates with credit and segment risk to meet department goals.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
