Job summary

Eastern Bank in Attleboro/Mansfield markets is seeking a Business Banking professional who will develop a portfolio of customers and COIs, selling bank products and coordinating cross-sell opportunities.

You will manage relationships with community partners, source new lending and deposit opportunities (C&I and CRE), and handle preliminary credit underwriting while maintaining CRM records. Strong sales background and banking knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and related experience.
• Five-to-eight years of sales and management experience.
• Basic understanding of commercial businesses and banking.
• Demonstrated basic knowledge of credit with some prior credit and sales training.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prospect and generate sales and pipeline.
• Technologically proficient and comfortable with CRM systems.
• Willing to attend networking events outside standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Develop a portfolio of customers, prospects and COIs through networking and business development.
• Sell bank products to new and existing customers.
• Partner with branches for cross-sell opportunities and customer relationship management.
• Manage relationships with Community Partners to growBB clients.
• Source and evaluate new BB opportunities for loan and deposit relationships (C&I and CRE).
• Manage BB client portfolio to minimize risk and drive profitability, cross-sell, and positive customer experience.
• Coordinate calling and relationship management with internal partners (commercial, investments, treasury, retail, insurance).
• Conduct preliminary underwriting and structure of credit requests.
• Maintain the internal Bank CRM with full history.
