First Horizon Bank is seeking a Senior Business Banking Relationship Manager to develop and manage a portfolio of small to midsized businesses. This role provides a full suite of banking services and handles more complex client accounts.

You will drive growth by expanding relationships, consulting on financial strategies, and coordinating loan structuring and closings. The role emphasizes cross-sell opportunities and cross-functional collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5-8 years of experience or equivalent combination.
• Knowledge of cash flow and business credit underwriting preferred.
• Ability to manage customer relationships across the company.
• Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong business acumen across various industries and markets.

Responsibilities

• Makes retention and business development calls on existing and potential customers.
• Develops new customer prospects and business for the Bank.
• Maintains prospect lists and business pipeline.
• Interview applicants and recommend loan products to customers.
• Determine best loan structure and submit for underwriting and approval.
• Coordinate loan closings and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell bank products and services.
• Build and maintain a portfolio of high-value small business clients.
• Develops sales plans and strategies with cross-department collaboration.
• Close deals with a high close rate.
