Abbott in Lake Forest, IL is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead requirements discovery and analysis for core diagnostic software. You will work with stakeholders, product managers, experts, and engineering teams to define needs, document specifications, and guide solutions across the SDLC.

Competenze

• Associates Degree plus 7+ years of experience in business analysis or equivalent.
• Strong written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills for technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead requirements-definition activities for complex software products.
• Experience with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Experience with medical devices, healthcare software, or clinical workflows is preferred.
• Experience documenting user needs, product requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with requirements traceability, change control, and design controls.

• Lead requirements discovery and analysis with stakeholders, product managers, customers, and technical teams.
• Analyze business processes, system interactions, workflows, and data to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Elicit, document, manage, and maintain business, functional, non‑functional, and system requirements.

• Facilitate stakeholder alignment and data-driven decision-making.
• Support Agile planning, backlog refinement, and release readiness.
• Lead UAT planning and execution and coordinate with QA for test coverage.
