Job summary

Abbott in Lake Forest, IL, seeks a Senior Business Analyst for the Core Labs division to own complex discovery and drive analysis for software products. You will liaise with stakeholders, Product Management, customers, and development teams to deliver measurable value across Global Marketing, R&D, IT, and Quality.

The role requires leading requirements activities, building artifacts, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards while supporting agile delivery and UAT planning.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree with 7+ years of experience.
• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
• Experience with medical devices or healthcare software preferred.
• Experience leading requirements definition for complex software products.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements discovery with stakeholders and technical teams.
• Analyze processes, system interactions, and data to identify gaps and risks.
• Elicit, document, manage, and maintain requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Develop user stories, use cases, and process flows.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define scalable software solutions.
• Manage requirements traceability and change control through the SDLC.
• Support Agile planning, backlog refinement, and UAT planning.
