Job summary
Pacific Life in Newport Beach, CA seeks a Senior Business Analyst to join the Digital Transformation FAST Contract Administration Team. You will analyze business processes, define requirements, and guide adoption of our modern contract administration platform, working with business and technology partners in an Agile environment.
You will translate complex needs into scalable solutions, partner with Product Owners to refine backlog and use cases, and help drive ongoing modernization of annuity
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
- 5-8 years of business analysis experience in contract administration or annuity processes.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to convey business and technical concepts clearly.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple complex initiatives and drive results.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business needs and translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Partner with Product Owners to refine backlog, define use cases, and ensure shared understanding.
- Lead design and solution sessions; contribute to Agile ceremonies and delivery.
- Develop expertise in annuity contract administration processes and supporting systems.
- Serve as a liaison between business and technology for production support and issue resolution.
