Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Business Analyst to analyze processes and systems, translate business requirements into designs, and drive improvements across multiple domains. You’ll work with stakeholders and scrum teams to ensure clear acceptance criteria and successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities include documenting requirements, creating functional specs, and supporting testing and deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent education and experience.
• 4 years of working experience in an Information Technology environment as a Business Analyst.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate in both technical and user-friendly language.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop requirements for process or system solutions spanning multiple business domains and document details for the development team.
• Break down business partner stories and requirements into backlog items for developers.
• Maintain IT process documentation and ensure traceability.
• Collaborate with bi and scrum teams to ensure consistency in processes and documentation.
• Provide functional design specifications for new development and major enhancements.
• Support testing with creation of test cases and automation scripts.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent education and experience
